Footsteps from Washington Square Park, Joffrey Ballet School stands at the forefront of American dance education and classical ballet training. Children ages 3 and older may celebrate their next birthday with Joffrey Ballet School with four themes or may create their own unique experience. The Wild Things Party theme invites guests to build Max’s land of the Wild Things from the ground up in movement. Pick the Joffrey Ballerina Party where guests are treated to a performance by Joffrey Dancers, then sport tutus and tiaras to stage their own performance. The Mad Hatter’s Tea party introduces party guests to the various movements of characters like the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts. Jump in the rabbit hole and have a tea party all your own. Finally, the Dragons, Fairies and Unicorns party brings guests face to face with mythical creatures that come to life in the perfect imagination of a child. The basic party package includes a basic dance lesson, a cake, a juice box and paper goods. Add-ons are available for an additional cost. Some parties include a dance performance from a Joffrey Ballet School trained dancer, a magic show or a clown performance. Parties range from 1.5-2.5 hours, and the birthday child is free. Each party is chaperoned by a member of the Joffrey Ballet School staff and two trainee dancers. Call for availability.
