The JCC Blaustein Early Childhood Center encourages each child to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes a love of learning. The Blaustein Early Childhood Center offers full day, half-day and extended day options for children ages 15 months through five years old (and children in diapers are welcome). A Full Day Kindergarten and Kindergarten Enrichment program are available. They offer an Early Riser Program before the regular school day begins, Extended Day for after-school, and a Lunch Bunch program. Busing is provided for afternoon Kindergarten Enrichment from Van Holten and Hamilton elementary schools in Bridgewater. The extended day option provides working parents with full day coverage from 7:45am - 6pm. The Early Childhood Center’s wide variety of enrichment classes are designed to provide preschoolers with an opportunity to take part in challenging, high-quality activities in a fun and creative environment. Enrichment classes included in preschool are swim instruction, arts and crafts, music and sports. The “GrandFriends” Intergenerational Program brings children and seniors together for weekly activities. “Mommy & Me” is available for children 18 months - 2 years old with a parent. Vacation Camp Programs are offered throughout the year. Summer Day Camp is available for children ages 2 through pre-K. Activities include swimming, arts & crafts, music, story time and snack, gym play and more! (Flexible options are available.) All programs are supervised by a dedicated staff comprised of warm, supportive individuals assuring that your child’s learning experience is a positive and enjoyable one!
