Now in it’s tenth year and through its own innovative method, ¡HOLA! is celebrating by expanding it’s programs. ¡HOLA! is a unique grassroots immersion program where children learn to love Spanish because it’s taught in a fun way. ¡HOLA! follows a natural approach in order to help develop oral skills, and it provides a great introduction or a boost to your child’s emerging skills into Spanish. Children are given a space to express and create freely where play, artistic expression and socialization are cornerstones of the program. The program focuses on a wide repertory of concepts to build vocabulary and help acquire the correct use of phonetics from a native speaker. ¡HOLA! uses both original and traditional music, movement, games, props and art. This year, ¡HOLA! is very proud to offer a new musical theater class for kids ages 6-9 years in addition to it’s regular immersion programs, which include ¡HOLA! classes for kids ages 12 months through 5 years, and are offered at apple seeds in the Flatiron District, Chelsea and in the UES. Also available is Ballet en Español for 3-6 year olds and in the summer of 2012 five immersive weeks of programs for children 3-6 years.
