This well-known independent school has been educating students in pre-nursery through grade 8 since 1958. The Summer Camp & Workshops, begun in 1994, are a unique blend of summer fun and educational opportunities, for boys and girls ages 3-14, including a CIT program. The day camp offers weekly sessions with two-, three-, four- and five-day programs, in full-day or half-day increments, for all campers. Camp groups are led by certified teachers as head counselors and area professionals as instructors in a variety of activities, including swimming, archery, arts and crafts, soccer, nature, music, theme weeks, special events and more! Extended hours start at 7:30am and run until 5:30pm. The camp may also be structured to be combined with the workshop and trailblazer programs. The summer workshops offer courses in enrichment/remedial academics, kindergarten readiness, babysitting, CPR and first aid, cooking, piano, computer and art. Half-day trailblazer programs are available in math, computer, science, sewing and cheerleading. Full/half-day trips are available for grades 6-8, as is a choice afternoon program for grades 4-8.
