For more than 40 years, The Hagedorn Little Village School, Jack Joel Center for Children (HLVS) has provided the finest educational and therapeutic services for infants and children up to 11 years old with a wide range of developmental delays. The mission of HLVS is to facilitate children with special needs in achieving their highest potential. HLVS provides early intervention, preschool and school-age services in the home, nursery school, daycare, on site and in center-based classrooms in its state-of-the-art facility. Services may include: special education, speech-language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, psychological and social work services, and SEIT and audiological services. Additionally, comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs are provided for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Many additional services are also offered at HLVS, including multi-disciplinary evaluations, parent and me classes, and parent and sibling support groups.
