Greenlawn Equestrian Center provides high-quality care and instruction for horses and riders in a safe, family-oriented and well-maintained facility. Services include riding lessons, horsemanship lessons, birthday parties, summer camp, Scout programs as well as boarding and barn services. Riding lessons are available as private, semi-private or group sessions and run 30 to 60 minutes. Children who are too young for lessons may enjoy pony rides. Horsemanship classes teach students about proper horse care and how to behave in their presence. They’re taught about grooming, tacking, nutrition and first aid. Greenlawn Equestrian prides itself on individual attention for riders and an absence of crowding. Its main goal is to turn students into better riders and “horse people.” Lessons are taught in an 80-foot-by-80-foot covered beginner ring or a 100-foot-by-245-foot advanced jumping ring.
