George Street Playhouse’s Summer Theatre Academy celebrates each student’s creative expression, providing a fun, engaging environment to explore theatre, develop self-confidence, and collaborate with others. Classes are ideal for students with or without theatre experience. The nurturing staff of professional theatre artists offer classes for students 5-18 in the foundations of acting, movement, voice, musical theatre, and design. Their affordable classes run from June 25 through August 3, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm. A perfect solution for working parents with convenient drop-off at 8:30 am, pick-up until 4:30pm, and early care starts at 8am and aftercare is available until 6pm. They offer small class sizes; safe, professional facilities; and an opportunity for your children to explore theatre arts in a joyous atmosphere. Each program culminates with a performance for family and friends on the mainstage of George Street Playhouse. Join them for a summer of inspiration!
