Located in the heart of Queens, the Garden Summer Program provides a memorable camp experience for children 18 months-13years, with full- and half-day options available in the Nursery and Junior programs. Garden’s fully air-conditioned facility offers a large in-ground pool, fully equipped gymnasium and enclosed early childhood playground, as well as art and dance studios. Children ages 7 and older participate in the F.A.S.T. program, offering a specialization in one of four areas (Fine Arts, Academics, Sports or Theatre Arts) for a block of time each day. The day also includes instructional and free swim, intramural competitions, arts and crafts, and game room time. Garden School teachers, supported by college students, instruct all skill area activities. Children 3½ to 6 years enjoy a play-based program incorporating a full range of arts and crafts, swim, music, cooking, games and sporting skills. One- through eight-week sessions are available. General schedule: Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm. Extended hours from 8am to 6pm. Camp tuition includes lunch and snacks. Door- to-door transportation is available.
