Drs. Robert Goldman, Elliot Taynor, Patrick Sabo and Mark Rienecker provide modern, comfortable orthodontics for children and adults. Available are traditional braces, expansion appliances, TMJ treatments, snoring appliances, sleep apnea solutions, sports mouth guards, clear braces, and more. All four of the doctors are Certified Invisalign Orthodontists. The doctors participate in numerous managed care and insurance plans. At the first orthodontist visit, the doctor will determine whether orthodontic treatment is needed. If it is, then diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Records typically include a medical and dental history, clinical examination, study models of the teeth, photos of a patient’s face and teeth, and X-rays. These are used to determine the type of treatment necessary and are helpful in tracking the progress. It’s best for the orthodontist to see children by age 7 so the orthodontist may guide the growth of the jaw and incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also simplify later treatment in some cases.
