The Center for Contemporary Art (the new identity of the Somerset Art Association) in Bedminster, NJ is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to inspiring creativity and enhancing lives through art. The Center offers studio art classes for people of all ages, ranging from kids as young as 4 to teens and adults in a variety of media including watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, pastel, charcoal, pencil and photography. Other programming at The Center includes bus tours, lectures, cultural special events and artist demonstrations while The Center’s gallery offers admission-free exhibits. The Center’s summer art camps include all-day and half-day weekly options (July through end of August). Fun themes engage, inspire, and educate students about famous artists and historical styles.
