Catholic Elementary Schools of Long Island
The Catholic Elementary Schools of Long Island are a community of 43 unique and beautiful schools serving Nassau and Suffolk counties as a part of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. The schools are safe, warm and loving places that offer Early Childhood Education for children in Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten, Elementary education for grades 1-5, and a high school preparatory education in Middle School. Long Island’s Catholic Elementary Schools are best defined by the integrated program of academic achievement and the learning and living of the Catholic faith and values. The schools strive to help parents instill the values they live at home during the formative years of their children’s character. Academically, the expectations of each student are high and the historical performance has been exceptional. Smaller class sizes mean that the schools know each child and their individual learning needs. Technology integrated classrooms engage the imaginations and challenge the capabilities of each student. Foreign language skills, extensive art and music programs, engaging extracurricular activities and competitive sports programs complete the experience. Catholic elementary school students graduate with the moral values, self-respect and study habits that go on to serve them well as they continue their education, and for the rest of their lives.
