One size fits all may be a great idea for socks, but when it comes to summer camp, it doesn’t quite work. Located in Melville, Camp W is a day camp that stands out from the rest. Campers range from Pre-K through 8th grade, along with a unique Apprentice Program for 9th & 10th graders. Campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, such as softball, football, plastic model making, go carts, dance, basketball, arts & crafts, ceramics, swimming, magic workshops, soccer, website design, ga ga ball, martial arts, and so much more! Our Afternoon electives are offered to our 2nd through 8th grade groups. A chance for kids to design their own programs and choose activities that they love. Campers will look forward to weekly events, such as Spirit Days, Water Slide Wednesdays, and Senior Trip Days. They'll also enjoy professional camp entertainment every Monday, pizza lunch on Thursdays, and barbecues on Fridays. The camp calendar is packed with special events, such as Gold Rush, Color War, Casino Day, Camp Carnival, Laser Tag, Haunted House and some very special surprises! The staff is thoughtfully comprised of teachers, college students, parents and high school students. Camp W offers 2, 4, 6 or 8 week sessions from 8:45 AM until 3:45 PM. As an extra bonus, Early Care starts at 7:30 AM and Late Care ends at 6:00 PM at no additional cost. Transportation is also included to local areas. With spacious athletic fields and air conditioned rooms Camp W is truly a wonderful place for children to spend their summer days laughing, making new friends and learning new skills.
