At Big Chief Day Camp, your child is an individual, not a number. They offer a program that will strengthen your child’s physical, social and emotional development in a safe, loving environment, which is carefully supervised by the owners. Programs include music, woodworking, rocketry, computers, art, science, animal care, drama, Red Cross Swim Instruction and afternoon free swim. Additional swims are provided on very hot days along with many exciting water activities. Sports include basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, baseball, kickball, handball and more. Club activities include horseback riding at Indian Head Ranch, rock climbing at Island Rock, kayaking, archery, fencing, and more. Campers learn lifelong skills from the pros— not teenage counselors. There are weekly themed events and air-conditioned facilities. Give your child a great camping experience in a camp that sets the standards on beautiful park-like setting only minutes away. Hot lunches or sandwiches, afternoon snacks and transportation are included. Children ages infant to 13 years can be enrolled for Full-Day sessions, 9am to 4:15pm; Midi-Day sessions 10:30am-3:15pm; or Half-Day sessions, 9am-1pm. All sessions are two, three, or five days a week for four, six or eight weeks. Free extended hours are 7:30am-5:15pm.
