The YJCC Nursery School promotes individual growth, development and creative expression through a variety of experiences and activities. Its innovative curriculum includes reading, math and handwriting readiness within a developmentally appropriate environment. A creative approach to Judaic customs and holidays is an integral element of the curriculum, emphasizing Jewish values and culture. A fully-accredited, experienced professional staff supports intellectual curiosity and development of social skills. Classrooms open onto a fenced-in playground with equipment built for creative play and large muscle development. Children use the YJCC’s gymnasium and indoor swimming pools under the supervision of YJCC physical education and aquatics staff. Early drop-off and after-care options are available, as are after-school enrichment programs in art, dance, sports and more. YJCC membership is required for Nursery School registration. The YJCC also offers The Parenting Center, with infant/toddler/parent classes, as well as information, guidance, support and resources for parents of
children from newborn through 24 months. The Parenting Center offers opportunities for establishing friendships for moms as well as babies.
