The Bergen YJCC’s KinderCamp for children ages 2, 3, 4 and entering kindergarten offers a first-camp experience that’s especially tailored especially for young children. A wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, theme weeks, nature, games, water play and gym round out the day. The YJCC is also affiliated with Woodmont Day Camp (845)638-0700, www.woodmontdaycamp.com) in New City, NY, which offers day camp for ages 3 through teen. Woodmont has outdoor facilities including heated swimming pools, ball fields, tennis courts, bumper boats and much more. The Bergen YJCC encourages families to ask about Camp Shalom, which provides an opportunity for children and young people with physical or developmental delays, including autism, to take part in a camp experience tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
