It’s never too early to start the education process. The Bedford Discovery Early Childhood Center offers toddlers through 8 year olds an opportunity to follow a trail of learning through discovery. The Toddler, Preschool and Before/After School Programs offer stimulating, age-appropriate activities to science, art, music, math, story time, computers, motor activities, creative dramatics, puzzles and more. The center boasts an 8,800-square-foot facility with a 10,000-square-foot playground especially designed for young children. Field trips and enrichment programs are offered to broaden children’s horizons. During the 8 weeks of summer BDECC offers a Travel Camp for children ages 5 (completed kindergarten) through 8 years old. This program offers stimulating games, sports, water fun, art, music, creative dance, science and nature, and much more. Campers will take field trips to nearby facilities such as: Splash Down Water Park, the Stepping Stones Museum, Maritime Aquarium, Lake Osceola, bowling, theatre and much more. Enroll your camper for an adventure choosing 2, 4, 6 or 8-week sessions. In addition, the Bedford Discovery Infant Center offers developmental programs to cater to the specific needs of infants. At the earliest and most critical stage of life, infants need a consistent, soothing and interactive environment.
