Located just one mile over the New York border into Connecticut and easy to reach via the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-684, Audubon Greenwich’s 290-acre sanctuary is an ideal location for children entering grades K-9 to enjoy fun-filled nature walks, hands-on activities, outdoor games and nature-themed crafts. Audubon’s unique camp activities allow young people to explore the great outdoors and develop a better understanding of the natural world around them. Camp themes change weekly and include Creepy Crawlies, Twilight Investigations, Backwoods Explorers, Homes & Hideouts and Aquatic Adventures. This popular camp sells out quickly so be sure to sign up soon for any of the seven one-week sessions held from June 27-August 12. Camp for children entering grades 6-9 is held during the weeks of June 27, July 11, July 25 and August 8. Camps hours are from 9:30am-3:30pm, but the week of August 8 is an evening camp that runs from 4-9pm. All registration information is available online and visitors are encouraged to register for weekly events emails for fun family events all year-round.
