Let your child’s imagination soar! Join the fun at ArtisticExpressions, Bergen County’s leading art camp, which is celebrating its 21th anniversary! Two-week sessions are available to children ages 5 - 13, starting July 2nd and running through August 24. Campers will have the opportunity to develop drawing skills and friendships in a friendly, safe environment. Each session, morning or afternoon, focuses on developing fine art skills through the eye of the cartoonist, using media such as water color, tempera paint, pastel and colored pencils. Campers can choose from four exciting sessions: Camper Sampler, Toon Blaster!, Toon In and Nick Toons. Or join them for the summer and do them all. Your child will draw his or her favorite character from movies, including Lorax, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and Harry Potter, as well as from Nickelodeon, Disney and the Cartoon Network, including Mario, SpongeBob and Pokémon and lots more. The camp is directed by Andrea Foldessy, an award-winning artist and a New Jersey certified art teacher for grades K through high school. With its air conditioned setting overlooking park-like grounds, the camp provides a refreshing oasis for budding artists to have fun nurturing their talents. All supplies and snacks are included.
