At Abundant Life Academy, a private, inter-denominational Christian School, the mission is clear; “to achieve academic excellence while sharing God’s love with children and their families.” Dual accredited by both ACSI and MSA and recognized in the Northeast Region as an ACSI Exemplary Program, the Academy serves children in grades pre-k through 12 and is a school parents can trust to educate their child. Caring and professional staff believes that when a parent decides to enroll their child at ALA, they are creating a partnership between parent and teacher establishing an unbreakable bond of love and safety for each child. Many of ALA’s teachers have been with the School for more than a decade, providing the community and consistency that are its earmarks. In ALA’s preschool program, the day is filled with lessons and classroom activities including special classes like Phys Ed., Art, Music and more, are provided for students on a weekly basis, and occasionally dramatic play in the playroom will take place for students to enjoy It is ALA’s intention to provide a comfortable, happy place for the little ones, while helping them to prepare for kindergarten. All students benefit from annual programs and activities like, Thanksgiving Feast, Olympic Day, Christmas Concert, Spring Festival, Multi-cultural celebrations, “When I Grow Up” Day, “Readers are Leaders”, book fairs, guest speakers, school chapels, summer program and much more. For parents whose schedules don’t coordinate with normal pick-up and drop-off times, ALA provides extended care, where students can arrive as early as 7:30am and stay beyond 3pm for After Care.
