Catch the Magic

One of the most talked about rivalries in sports history comes to life on Broadway in Magic/Bird. With classic NBA footage presented throughout the show, the captivating story centers on the careers of basketball legends and rivals Larry Bird and Earvin “Magic” Johnson from the NBA draft to the Olympic Dream Team. Partake in a quest from the high seas to the streets of Victorian London when Sony Pictures presents The Pirates! Band of Misfits. The animated adventure follows Pirate Captainis as he sets out to defeat his rivals and win the
coveted pirate of the year award. Opening on March 30, the flick stars Hugh Grant, Salma Hayek and Jeremy Piven.

Even More Victorious

Nickelodeon’s live action series Victorious: The Complete Second Season is released on DVD in a brand new two-disc set on March 18. The title follows Tori Vega and her fellow classmates at Hollywood Arts High School. Each of the 12 memorable episodes offer tunes, drama and laughs for viewers. Get a copy today.

Robots to the Rescue

Cable channel The Hub introduces autobot-loving children to the new animated series Transformers Rescue Bots. Teamed with a human family of first responders, including a fire fighter, police chief, rescue pilot and engineer, a group of autobots is charged by Optimus Prime to protect and learn about humans on a technologically advanced island. LeVar Burton from Reading Rainbow and Lacey Chabert from Party of Five lend

Attending school and celebrating birthdays and other milestones are in store when Sesame Workshop and Warner Home Video present Elmo’s World: Elmo’s Favorite Things. The delightful recent release follows the lovable furry red monster in eight popular Elmo’s World episodes that explore everything from counting and self-confidence to pets and friendship. Wubb a Dub Club

Preschoolers are invited to join the fun of Wuzzleburg in Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!: The Wubb Club (Anchor Bay Entertainment). The five-episode DVD from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment enchants audiences as the title character and her friends dance their way through plots filled with royalty, secrets, spells and celebrations. Get the DVD in stores beginning on March 6.

Tasty Treat

Acclaimed children’s ensemble the Bari Koral Family Rock Band gets you moving and grooving with Anna and the Cupcakes.
