Brendan Fraser is the voice of Scorch Supernova in the new Weinstein Co. release Escape from Planet Earth. The computer-animated adventure finds space hero Scorch defending his planet Beeb against the evil villain Shanker. The movie blasts into theaters on February 14.

Fired Up

A single father and fireman fights for love in the Hallmark Channel original movie Be My Valentine. The heartwarming holiday romance focuses on widowed firefighter Dan Ferrell, whose life is dramatically changed when his team responds to a call at a local flower shop a few weeks before February 14. Airing on February 9, the flick stars William Baldwin, Natalie Brown and Christian Martyn.

Ghost Story

It’s up to a team of science-savvy teens to tidy up the neighborhood in Ghost Trap. The thrilling and chilling DVD from Inception Media Group follows Cynthia Carter, who finds herself doing community service in a house that is rumored to be haunted. The family-friendly movie is available on February 12.
