Noah’s Ark Progressive Learning Center strives to create a summer learning environment which invites the fullest expression of each person’s gifts. Their fun and educational summer program for children ages 2-7 and the Explorer program fro ages 8-12 offers both indoor and outdoor activities including tennis, pottery, soccer, basketball, creative dance/hip-hop, music, aikido, swim and art. Campers also attend all-day field trips on a weekly basis. Both nursery and pre-k classrooms are divided into distinct learning areas. 2 year olds learn through the medium of art. The pre-k program is dedicated to the process of awakening and fostering in the children the love of learning. Their setting offers the child the opportunity to teach him/herself through his/her own discoveries. Specialty areas include Spanish, Music Appreciation, Computers, Creative Movement and Yoga for kids. Gym is held in their large indoor gymnasium, while swimming lessons are held on the premises of the YMCA. A pick-up and drop-off service is offered upon request for an extra cost.
