Peconic Dunes is a co-educational camp offering sleepaway or day camp experiences for youngsters ages 8-15. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, environmental arts and crafts, basketball, soccer, softball, campfires and cookouts. Training in outdoor survival skills and environmental stewardship will be offered. Peconic Dunes is located on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island. The camp is a part of the Suffolk County Park system and is operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. The 2008 season begins on June 29 and ends August 23.
