Miss Debbie’s Work of Heart is a premier nursery school and camp for young children. Located on 2 beautiful acres, it has three playgrounds, two pools, a baseball diamond, basketball courts and a mini golf course. Children may enjoy a full curriculum-based nursery school program at this incredible location. Miss Debbie’s believes each child is unique and provides an environment that fosters that child’s abilities. Classes are age-appropriate. Children are immersed in literacy and enjoy flannel board stories, big book stories, puppet shows and celebrations of children’s authors. Children produce artwork using various developmentally appropriate mediums and techniques. Music and instruments are an integral part of the program. Matt the Music Man entertains and expands your child’s love of music. Miss Debbie’s encourages hands-on math and science through the use of counting objects, graphing and highlighting daily life. Science includes experiments, nature walks, planting and discovery stations. The Pet Den brings exotic animals in conjunction with themes to further layer your child’s learning about the world. Miss Debbie’s summer camp is a seven-week, theme-filled extravaganza. Your child learns swim skills from aquatics directors and enjoys two pools supervised by Red Cross certified lifeguards. Each week, children are greeted with fun decorations that set the tone for a theme. Miss Debbie’s believes that children who are validated feel connected.
