The Somerset Art Association, located in Bedminster, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to furthering awareness and understanding of the visual arts. The year round school offers classes and workshops in painting, drawing, sculpture, watercolor, pastels and the decorative arts for people of all ages and skill levels. In addition to art instruction, SAA houses the Johnson Gallery, which presents changing exhibitions of individual artists and groups during the year. Members may participate in SAA’s annual juried and nonjuried shows. Also enjoy their bus trips to NYC and tri-state areas of interest. Through continuing education, outreach programs, exhibitions, field trips, lectures and special events, the association strives to offer the public a wide choice of art-related activities to enjoy and explore.
