Young sports enthusiasts will discover all of the action and excitement they can handle during their time off from school at the Newark Academy Summer Sports Institute. Designed for boys and girls entering grades three through nine, the Summer Sports Institute introduces campers to a wide variety of activities, including Boys & Girls Basketball; Boys & Girls Lacrosse; Boys & Girls Soccer; Boys & Girls Fencing; and the Mott-Leeney Baseball Camp. These fun, intensive camps are presented in weekly sessions from June 16 to August 1 on the breathtaking 68 acre campus of Newark Academy. With their state-of-the-art indoor facilities including a designated fencing room, a six-lane swimming pool, multiple basketball courts in addition to their vast outdoor athletic fields, Newark Academy offers an athletic experience that is second to none. Their dedicated staff of coaches, ably assisted by local high school and college counselors stress teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for others as they teach the basic fundamentals of their respective sport.
