Since 1976, Center Stage has served the New Jersey theatre community with an eclectic approach for well-rounded training. It’s all here, under one roof: the best teachers of classical ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop, plus a teaching group of dynamic theatre professionals. Center Stage Summer Camps are designed to provide something for everyone. For younger children they offer a Theatre Camp – “CURTAIN UP,” preparing little “triple threats” with classes in dance, acting, and singing. The group is divided by age and ability, and geared toward children interested in musical theatre. “CURTAIN UP” meets in both their East Brunswick and Marlboro performing arts centers. “POWER DANCE” dance camp focuses on older children and teens who already know that they love to dance. With classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, and Musical Theatre Center Stage provides an action packed 3 or 4 weeks of fun and excitement, culminating in a final show. So while for some, summer time may be easy living, at Center Stage it’s full of excitement, enthusiasm and fun!
