The Calderone School of Music, a N.J. D.O.E. Registered Development Provider founded in 1975, offers private music lessons for all ages and levels on all instruments and voice. “Kindermusik” classes are offered as a fun-filled, enriching adventure in music concepts for young children ages 0-7 in Fall, Spring and Summer sessions. Ensembles, auditions, competitions and recitals are available. 2,000 students are taught by a professional staff of fifty-five certified teachers holding advanced degrees in music. Kathleen Calderone, the founder, has a BA in Music Education, a Kodaly Graduate Certification, a Masters of Arts for Teachers in Music, a New Jersey Supervisor Certification, is an adjunct Professor at Kean University and is completing a Ph.D.
