The Summer Theatre Camp of Montclair, now in it’s 18th year, is once again proud to offer Summer Circus Arts Camp! Send in the Clowns!....participants create their own spectacular circus as they discover juggling, clowning, mime, plate spinning, slapstick, balancing techniques, dance, art, and more! In this fun & supportive environment, each young performer will create his or her own clown character through improvisation, movement and theater games. Group and individual activities help students develop physical fitness, self-confidence, rhythm, teamwork, focus, and hand-eye coordination. Circus related art projects will include set, prop, poster & costume design. In the spirit of sharing & community, each session culminates in a special Circus Finale show for family & friends! Camp is full day with aftercare available for working parents, and is held in Cedar Grove, NJ. 1, 2, or 3 week options are offered for ages 7-14.
