Now in their 52nd year of Katz family ownership, Deer Mountain Day Camp is a place where campers feel like they belong. They feel safe and comfortable – just like at home. Being family owned drives our personal approach and our 3 to 1 supervision ratio. Deer Mountain campers make friends, gain confidence, try new things, commemorate each of the steps they take and soak up the incredible range of activities that are offered. Deer Mountain Day Camp is located in nearby Pomona, New York at the base of the Ramapo Mountains. The breathtaking 25 acre facility features 6 heated pools, age-appropriate sports facilities, lake, nature center, dining hall and over 25 buildings that support an extensive creative & fine arts program, which help to deliver a dazzling array of activities through which each of camper can learn and grow. Deer Mountain Day Camp offers a variety of programs for campers ranging in age from 3 to 15.
