Vacation
The biggest decision I have had to make in a long time is where to go on a vacation with my family this summer. After all, I want it to be special— my husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary, my husband recently turned 40 (don't tell him I told you) and my son is turning 6. Because this vacation is to celebrate all of these events, I want it to be one we will not forget. My son is convinced after thumbing through a World Atlas book that Canada is where we need to go. I have been to Canada a number of times and truly did find it to be beautiful but, c'mon Canada? My daughter is fine with going anywhere that has rides. If I mention a certain destination, like “Hey kids, how about the Caribbean?” Julianna instantly jumps up and down and says “YAY! We can go on rides there!” I think we have touted one too many amusement parks as a vacation. My husband's only comment is “You decide.” The pressure is on! Of course, wherever we end up going, memories will be made and we will be sure to have a good time, blah, blah, blah. Now I really need to sit down and make a decision.
By the way, suggestions are welcomed!
