Want to add a fun, unique twist
to your child’s upcoming birthday party? Host a pony
party with the help of Lakewood Stables! Imagine your child’s
delight when he or she comes outside for the party and sees
a live pony waiting to be rode. If you live in the Nassau
County area, two instructors will bring the pony to you and
help each child mount, ride and dismount the pony. If you’d
rather go to the stable for the rides, host your party at
the West Hempstead location. A clubhouse that overlooks the
riding arena can be rented for a party room, and special groups
lessons are available for older kids. Tours throughout the
stable can also be arranged. Lakewood Stables, formerly known
as the Lakeside Riding Academy, is under new ownership, offering
many exciting programs for the enjoyment, education and training
of new and experienced riders. The 100-year-old Academy is
the only expansive riding facility on the South Shore of Nassau
County, and it believes providing quality instruction is of
greatest importance. Private lessons are available seven days
a week, scheduled at your convenience, and group lessons are
available based on skill level. Boarding is also available.
