Storyteller Karen Caporale will make your child a star as she ultimately transforms your party into an exciting stage. Karen will arrive at your home, hall or party room equipped with fantastic fairytale costumes, props, make-up and music. She is prepared to direct any one of five fairytales with her group. If it’s a girl’s birthday she transforms the birthday girl into the “Star princess” and if it’s a boy’s birthday, he will be the starring hero. Karen starts the one hour session by presenting the story in her “warm-up circle” with the children. She relaxes and draws out the kids by briefly practicing some of the actions or emotions of the characters and getting the children to be more dramatic. After a fun and exciting costume and make up session, the children present their show. Every child at the party can wear a costume and participate in this delightful performance. Kids Costumed Capers is best suited for children ages 4 through 10 and Karen can accommodate anywhere from 10 - 28 kids at each party. Children have been enjoying these shows for the past 26 years at birthday parties, day camps, libraries and schools in the New York and New Jersey areas.
