Ann Dorwin is an education specialist with degrees in health, physical education and recreation and child psychology. She is currently the field director for the National Circus Project, developing curricula for specialized circus-education outreach programs. Dorwin began training in aikido in 2009. Originally founded in 1964, the Long Island Aikikai in Bayshore is one of the oldest dojos in the United States. It aims to preserve and promote the martial art of aikido.
